As we enter mid-summer, course conditions continue to be outstanding with very little irrigation needed to maintain lush and green playing surfaces. The price of diesel fuel has been especially hard on us as all of our equipment is diesel powered. Play this year has been very good on the "forecasted" fair weather days and marginal when the "possibility" of rain or thunderstorms exist. Remember that the Weatherchannel forecasts are extremely inaccurate for this area. We have real time radar in the clubhouse and can give you a much more accurate prediction of the weather here in Newark Valley. Just give us a call (642-3376).
